1. Claude Lanouhe
Managing Director – India and Sri Lanka
Graduated Master’s degree in Tropical Agronomy and Economy and 1st degree Ph.D. in Economy and Management from the University of Bordeaux - France.
Joined SGS Group in 1987 in France holding different positions in various sectors before being appointed as Managing Director in Senegal then Managing Director in Vietnam before joining SGS India on February 1st, 2004.
2. Dedigamage Dharmadasa
Country Manager
Graduated Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Master of Philosophy Degree in Analytical Chemistry. Holds another Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Joined SGS Group in 1990. Before joining SGS Group he had worked for Medical Research Institute of Sri Lanka .
He is a ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor and Tutor . He has vast experience in Quality and Environment Management Systems
3. Lakshman Gurunada
Business Manager – Agriculture
Joined SGS in 1998. Before joining SGS , he worked in the Tea Plantation Sector as a Senior Manager.
He is a Diploma Holder of National Institute of Plantation Management and an experienced Tea Taster. He is also a Registered Senior Surveyor of Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka .
4. B . A . Sumanasiri
Business Manager – Systems and Service Certifications
Graduated in Science and started his career as a Quality Manager and a Trainer. Joined SGS in 2002 . Prior to joining SGS he had worked as a General Manager at Activated Carbon Manufacturing Plant in Bangkok.
He is a ISO 9001:2000 registered Lead Auditor and Tutor. He is also qualified as ISO 14001and SA 8000 Auditor
5. Roshan Peries (Ms)
Business Manager – Consumer Testing Services
Joined SGS in 2001.She holds a Bachelor Degree in Administration from USA. She is an approved Auditor for WRAP and SA 8000.
Prior to joining SGS, she had worked for several garment industry companies as a Senior Manager
6. Lakshman Gurunada
Business Manager – Oil Gas & Chemicals
Joined SGS in 1998. Before joining SGS , he worked in the Tea Plantation Sector as a Senior Manager.
He is a Diploma Holder of National Institute of Plantation Management and an experienced Tea Taster. He is also a Registered Senior Surveyor of Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka .
7. Sumathy Rajasingham( MS)
Manager –Laboratory
She holds Bachelors and Master Degrees in Chemistry . Joined SGS in 2001 . She has worked as a senior Government Analyst prior to joining SGS.
She has a wide range of experience in Laboratory Management and Quality Assurance . She is also a qualified Food Safety Auditor
8. Tyrell Juriansz
Business Manager – Minerals and Industrial / Trade Assurance
Tyell Jurianze is a Registered Senior Surveyor of Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka .
He started his career in SGS in 1977 and presently responsible for Minerals, Industrial and Trade Assurance Services.
